Darren Lucas

Darren began playing basketball as a junior with the Bulleen Boomers, before receiving a scholarship to the Australian Institute of Sport in Canberra in 1984. He spent one year there and played for the program's SEABL league team., where he developed his game alongside other future NBL stars like Trevor Torrance, and NBA star Luc Longley.
